Details of the Job/Internship

Ingersoll Rand is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel – MEIA with over 7 years of experience to join their team in India, with preference for Bangalore, Ahmedabad, or Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise leadership on legal, regulatory, and corporate matters.
• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, including M&A and commercial agreements in multiple jurisdictions.
• Support compliance initiatives, dispute resolution, and project objectives.
• Supervise external counsel and collaborate with global and regional legal teams.
• Ensure contractual compliance and effective risk mitigation.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM degree with 7+ years of commercial legal experience.
• Qualified lawyer in India; in-house experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English and expertise in cross-border contracts.
