Details of the Job/Internship
Innovaccer is looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Legal Counsel.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure month-end and year-end account closing activities and reconciliations.
- Ensuring compliance with all the applicable policies and GAAPs.
- Analyzed monthly and quarterly financial statements and presented the reports to the senior management.
- Reviewing the monthly accruals and ensuring the correctness and completeness.
- Provide professional guidance to peers and subordinates.
- Prepared documentation/memos for annual external audits.
- Manage a team of accountants.
- Negotiating sales contracts with US clients with healthcare providers, healthcare payers, pharma companies, etc.
- Negotiating complex procurement and partnership contracts with US entities.
- Negotiating procurement contracts with Indian vendors.
- Provide legal opinion on company policies and processes.
- Regulatory research and compliance.
- Liaise with external counsel on contracts, compliance, disputes, IP-related matters, etc.
- Drive efficiency in contracting and other legal processes.
Eligibility
- Drafting and negotiating IT contracts, including software licenses, SAAS, IT consulting services etc. for US clients.
- Experience in healthcare/pharmaceuticals industry preferred.
- Some exposure in legal research and compliance.
