Details of the Job/Internship
PUMA Group is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 15+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise business teams on legal matters including real estate contracts, retail compliance, and contract negotiations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and contractual risks.
- Manage disputes, recovery matters, and litigation with external counsel.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Apply legal principles accurately to business facts and transactions.
- Stay updated on legal developments and advise on changes impacting the business.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal authorities.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed law college.
- Minimum 15 years of legal experience.
- Strong experience in drafting and reviewing legal contracts.
- Sound understanding of business environments and legislative changes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, crisis management, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams with strong organisational skills.
