Details of the Job/Internship

ABB is hiring Senior Legal Counsel to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Independently reviewing and redline of sale contracts, procurement contracts, risk assessment of contracts in line with ABB corporate guidelines.
• Providing internal training on contractual and integrity topics.
• Integrity and the formulation, interpretation and implementation of ABB policies to ensure consistency and compliance applicable local laws.
• Supporting in improvement or development of legal processes, due diligence and legal productivity, simplicity and standardization, reflecting the country specific requirements.
• Managing and coordinating litigation and employment disputes in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
• Supporting ABB Integrity program and supporting integrity initiatives in close collaboration with the Corporate Counsel and Regional General Counsel.

Eligibility

• Legal degree from accredited law school with a demonstrable superior academic record.
• First Legal experience or equivalent in an internationally recognized law firm or multinational company, that includes, inter alia.
• Substantial "hands-on" experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contract.
• Strong command of corporation law and practices.
• Demonstrable computer literacy with specific ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other software such as redlining tools.
• Relevant work permit.
