Details of the Job/Internship

AXISCADES is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with experience of 8–10 years to join their office in Hebbal, Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead legal workstreams on acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and internal restructurings from term sheets to post-closing integration.
• Draft, review, and negotiate strategic customer, vendor, and partner contracts including MSAs, SOWs, supply, manufacturing, and technology or IP arrangements.
• Develop playbooks, fallback positions, and templates for efficient contracting.
• Manage commercial, regulatory, and employment disputes including strategy, counsel coordination, and ADR where appropriate.
• Advise HR and business leaders on employment and labour law issues, policies, investigations, and employee engagement frameworks.
• Support governance processes through contract lifecycle management, stakeholder advisory, and legal inputs to board and committee materials.

Eligibility

• 8–10 years’ post-qualification experience with a strong grounding in corporate or M&A and commercial transactions.
• Experience in managing transaction workstreams including diligence, documentation, closing, and post-closing matters.
• Hands-on experience in litigation and disputes management.
• Comfort working on employment and HR-related matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and commercial judgement skills.
• High ownership mindset and ability to work under time pressure.
