Details of the Job/Internship
BillDesk is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and standardize various legal agreements and templates.
- Manage contractual, governance, regulatory, and reputational risks.
- Lead legal training sessions for employees.
- Provide documentation and policy-related advisory for digital payments.
- Guide and manage legal teams and counsel cross-functional teams.
Eligibility
- Graduate in Law (3/5-year course) from a reputed law school.
- CS qualification preferred but not mandatory.
- First-class distinction grades in SSC and HSC.
- 8–10 years of post-qualification experience in contract management, product advisory, and governance.
- Knowledge of Companies Act, 2013, RBI (PAPG and KYC) & FEMA regulations, Data Privacy Laws (DPDP Act, 2023 and GDPR).
- Experience in digital payments, BBPS, fintech, and financial services sectors.
- Strong drafting, communication, and team leadership skills.
