Details of the Job/Internship
Bunge is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 10–12+ years of experience to join their India Legal team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal counsel across advisory, litigation, regulatory compliance, and employment matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial documentation and transactions including M&A, JVs, acquisitions, and divestments.
- Partner with regional/global legal teams and business stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and support strategic objectives.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting the region.
- Represent the company before authorities and quasi-judicial agencies.
- Manage disputes, arbitration, litigation, and settlements.
- Conduct legal training sessions and promote legal technology solutions.
- Oversee and manage relationships with external counsel, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with 10–12+ years of experience in FMCG or reputed law firms.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage priorities, and handle complex legal matters.
