Details of the Job/Internship
Comviva is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and Negotiation: Handle drafting, vetting, and negotiation of commercial contracts, preferably in the IT sector.
- RFP Response: Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and related legal queries.
- Legal Guidance and Training: Provide legal guidance, training, and opinions to business teams.
- Regulatory Oversight: Stay updated with changes in legal positions and oversee legal, regulatory, and telecom/banking requirements.
- Special Projects: Support the leadership team with due diligence for special projects, new initiatives, and mergers & acquisitions in India.
- Contribute to the company’s global growth initiatives.
- Legal Research: Research governing laws across various jurisdictions.
- Litigation: Manage or support litigation processes (litigation experience is an added advantage).
Eligibility
- Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach.
- Strong understanding of Indian legal and regulatory frameworks, with the ability to adapt to global contexts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
