Details of the Job/Internship
Danaher is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 10–12 years of experience to join its India legal and compliance team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise commercial leaders on contract management, legal advisory, dispute management, and risk mitigation matters.
- Draft, negotiate, execute, and enforce contracts while ensuring alignment with legal standards and company policies.
- Identify and manage legal risks associated with agreements, transactions, and business operations.
- Oversee dispute management and coordinate with external counsel when required.
- Assess, mitigate, and monitor legal and regulatory risks related to products and operations.
- Advance compliance programs and conduct employee training on anti-bribery, anti-corruption, healthcare compliance, and product quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, marketing, sales, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. qualification.
- 10–12 years of relevant legal and compliance experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
- Experience in both private practice and in-house legal roles is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indian regulatory frameworks and global compliance standards.
