Details of the Job/Internship

Dentsu International is hiring for the position of Senior Legal Counsel with 10-15 years of experience to join their Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise leadership teams, boards, and committees on diverse legal issues, including contract law, employment law, corporate governance, compliance, IP, and data privacy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate high-value, complex contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
• Support the General Counsel in executing legal strategy, policy implementation, and team development.
• Lead and manage litigation, disputes, and investigations, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.
• Deliver legal training and risk management workshops for business teams.
• Develop and optimize legal risk frameworks, SOPs, and contract management processes.
• Manage relationships with external counsel, balancing quality with cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee legal team members, ensuring performance, development, and alignment with business priorities.
• Assist in internal investigations concerning compliance violations or concerns.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; additional qualifications (LL.M., Company Secretary, etc.) are a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Prior experience in the media, advertising, or technology sector is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and complex legal portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of Indian legal frameworks; exposure to international legal issues is a plus.
