Edgeverve is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with experience of 3+ years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, negotiate and manage complex SaaS/ Cloud and other kinds of licensing agreements as well as Master Services Agreements.
- Build legal frameworks and strategies for outbound and inbound software licensing transactions.
- Resolve legal issues and contract interpretation matters.
- Handling contract disputes and liaising with law firms where required.
- Discuss with internal stakeholders to structure contracts and respond to RFP / RFI.
- Assist in developing framework from a legal perspective for software products creation and launch.
Eligibility
- LLB., Over all 5+Years with with 3+ years of relevant legal experience. In-house experience in a product company is a must.
- Significant experience in handling complex commercial transactions, including IT services agreement, licensing contacts, partnership agreements, subcontracting and vendor contracts.
- Comprehensive understanding of complex contractual issues, assess risk, and independently provide concise business-focused legal advice.
- Effectively handling contract disputes.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize to close critical deals.
- Working with internal stakeholders from various business functions.
- Highly self-motivated to lead projects with minimal supervision.
- Excellent judgment and can craft creative solutions.
- Analytical ability and strong attention to detail.
