EG A/S is looking for candidates for the position of Senior Legal Counsel.
Role and Responsibilities
- Vendor audits: Conduct vendor audits, including the collection of audit reports. General data preparation and collection in order to conduct risk assessments.
- Contract management: Manage customer contracts in our CLM system, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Generate and distribute contract management reports, including status updates for business unit/division management.
- Data protection compliance: Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations in India as well as in Europe.
- Awareness initiatives: Assist in the management and utilization of our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tool. Setup and execute awareness campaigns by Group Legal & Compliance.
- General legal guidance and support: Provide legal guidance and support to stakeholders, assisting with a broad spectrum of legal matters, including ad-hoc tasks, projects, and administrative responsibilities.
Eligibility
- Hold a degree in Law.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in law.
- Are comfortable and find it motivating working within a variety of legal areas and fields of expertise.
- Possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, particularly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement is highly valued.
- Are business-oriented, service-minded, and willing to go the extra mile when necessary.
- Are a structured, detail-oriented individual with a hands-on approach and excel in cross-organizational communication.
- Have fluency in English, both written and spoken.
