Epic Group is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with experience of 12+ years to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor agreements, lease deeds, franchise agreements, service level agreements, and NDAs.
• Develop and implement legal strategies aligned with business objectives and advise senior management on the legal implications of business decisions.
• Draft and vet strategic business agreements to ensure legal soundness.
• Ensure the company’s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor and drive statutory compliance across multiple locations and coordinate with government authorities.
• Handle matters relating to employment laws, disciplinary actions, employee disputes, and industrial relations.
• Liaise with external legal counsel for court matters and manage the end-to-end litigation process.
• Drive corporate governance initiatives and ensure board resolutions are legally compliant.
• Identify potential legal risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Participate in internal audits and implement corrective action plans relating to legal issues.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM from a reputed university with 12+ years of legal experience, preferably in construction, labour law, and litigation.
• Strong understanding of Indian labour laws, industrial relations, and export regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multi-location legal issues with high accountability and minimal supervision.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and business-focused approach.

Salary/Stipend
