Details of the Job/Internship

Ingersoll Rand is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel – MEIA with 7+ years of experience to support its India, Middle East, and Africa operations. The position can be remote or based in Bangalore, Ahmedabad, or Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise MEIA leadership on strategic legal matters.
• Provide guidance on corporate, commercial, and compliance topics.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
• Manage litigation and respond to external legal queries.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance.
• Supervise and collaborate with external counsel across regions.
• Handle corporate secretarial, procurement, and intercompany legal matters.
• Engage with the global legal team for project-based support

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM degree; licensed to practice law in India.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial legal roles.
• Proficiency in English with strong drafting and communication skills.
• Knowledge of commercial and contractual law across jurisdictions.
• Experience with cross-border contracts and legal strategy.
• High ethical standards, results-oriented mindset, and proactive approach.
• In-house legal experience preferred.
