Details of the Job/Internship

JLL is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with experience of 7 to 8 years to join their office in Bengaluru East.

Role and Responsibilities

• Support legal and compliance matters for our Work Dynamics business in India with a primary focus on commercial transactional work
• Advise on, review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts such as consultancy agreements, services agreements, RFPs, design and build contracts, tender responses, etc. with clients and vendors, and draft/manage contract templates
• Identify and manage risk exposures, and deliver proactive, effective, and strategic advice for operations in India
• Assist with the development of processes to identify and manage legal risks, management of regulatory compliance, ethics and compliance issue management, dispute management, rendering legal training, etc. 
• Direct interaction with internal clients as well as external parties such as clients, vendors, and other third parties. 
• Provide other legal support as directed from time to time by the Senior Director – Legal, India, and in liaison with other colleagues in APAC, as required. 

Eligibility

• A law graduate from a reputable law school with ~7-8 years of PQE
• Prior relevant experience in commercial transactional work in private practice or an in-house position
• Excellent knowledge of Indian laws including but not limited to corporate and commercial laws, labor laws, data privacy laws, real estate laws, etc. 
• Commercially savvy, with a highly responsive, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
• Detail-oriented and able to simplify complex
• Be a team player. Able to work well with others and manage stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively juggle priorities.

Salary/Stipend
