Jupiter Capital Private Limited is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel to join their office in Bengaluru on a full-time basis.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle legal matters, contract negotiation, legal document preparation, and provide legal advice.
- Manage legal issues on a day-to-day basis.
- Proven hands-on experience in corporate litigations including arbitration, civil court matters, High Court matters, recovery proceedings, NCLT matters, Sec 138 proceedings, and title disputes.
- Independently lead and manage legal due diligence processes for potential investments and acquisitions.
- Handle all litigation matters for the parent company and its portfolio/investee companies.
- Coordinate with external legal counsels and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, legal acumen, judgment, and ethical standards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM from a top law school.
- Expertise in law and legal issues.
- Experience in contract negotiation and legal document preparation.
- Proven ability to provide legal advice.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Previous experience in financial/legal sectors is preferred.
- Past experience working closely with Senior Advocates.
- Track record of favorable legal outcomes in key matters.
