Details of the Job/Internship
KGiSL is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 10+ years of experience to join their office in Coimbatore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice on corporate law matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Advise management on corporate governance and risk mitigation.
- Handle matters related to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, IPOs, and corporate restructuring.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
- Assist with regulatory approvals and compliance requirements.
Eligibility
- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognised university.
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Law, Companies Act, Contract Law, FEMA, SEBI guidelines, and other relevant statutes.
- Experience working with corporates preferred.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
