Details of the Job/Internship

Leaders Access is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 8–10 years of experience in Contract Management, Product Advisory, and Governance to join their office in Andheri (W), Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and standardize contracts and templates for business and product requirements.
• Identify and manage contractual, governance, regulatory, and reputational risks.
• Conduct training on key legal developments for internal teams.
• Lead and manage legal operations including contract lifecycle management and compliance processes.
• Provide legal documentation and policy advisory for digital payments including payment aggregation, gateway, and marketplaces.
• Negotiate and finalize high-stake contracts across IT, e-commerce, payments, real estate, vendor, and employment domains.
• Guide internal teams and collaborate with stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• Evaluate legal impacts of regulatory changes and mitigate risks.

Eligibility

• 3/5-year law graduate from a reputed law school.
• CS qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• 1st class distinction grades in SSC and HSC.
• 8–10 years of post-qualification experience as in-house or external counsel.
• Industry experience in Banking, Online Payment Gateway (PSO), Fintech, NBFC, or Insurance.
• Knowledge of Companies Act, 2013, RBI (PAPG, KYC), FEMA regulations, DPDP Act, 2023, GDPR, and Digital Payments.
