Details of the Job/Internship

Network18 Media & Investments Limited is hiring for the position of Senior Legal Counsel with 7-12 years of experience to join their office in Noida. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage litigation (civil and criminal) and pre-litigation matters including legal notices, show cause notices, and viewer complaints.
• Handle disputes related to agreements, arbitration, negotiable instruments, labour cases, and other company-related litigations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, JV agreements, MoUs, lease deeds, and other legal documents.
• Vet legal documents including deeds, agreements, and appeals; prepare pleadings and other court filings.
• Supervise and coordinate with external counsels for case management and strategy.
• Maintain litigation MIS and oversee timely follow-ups and reporting.
• Advise management on legal and regulatory risks and ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.
• Formulate and implement legal policies, SOPs, and statutory compliance programs.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property rights, data protection, and emerging regulatory issues.

Eligibility

• LL.B. (Graduate/Postgraduate in Law); specialization in Labour Law preferred.
• 7–12 years of post-qualification experience in litigation and corporate legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, arbitration, civil procedure, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and liaise effectively with external counsels and internal teams.
• Should be able to join within 30–45 days.

Salary/Stipend
