Nothing is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with experience of 10+ years to join their office in Gurgaon, India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate business agreements such as Distribution, Purchase, and Marketing Agreements.
- Advise on corporate matters including FDI, customs, brand authorizations, and IP/trademark violations.
- Support compliance efforts related to corporate secretarial duties, product standards, labor, and consumer protection.
- Collaborate with global legal and business teams on cross-functional issues.
- Engage and manage external counsel to deliver cost-effective and solutions-oriented outcomes.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping of all legal documentation.
Eligibility
- 10+ years of post-qualification legal experience; smartphone or consumer tech experience is a plus.
- Qualified to practice law in India with leading law firm credentials.
- CS (Company Secretary) qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Past experience in a start-up environment is preferred.
- Strong command over written and verbal English.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
