Details of the Job/Internship

Nothing is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with experience of 10+ years to join their office in Gurgaon. This role involves providing end-to-end legal support across commercial, operational, governance, and regulatory matters while advising senior leadership on business strategy and growth.

Role and Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate, and manage business agreements including Distribution Agreements, Purchase Agreements, Marketing Agreements, and MSAs.
• Advise on corporate matters including FDI, customs, brand authorisations, and IP or trademark issues.
• Support compliance matters including corporate secretarial, product, environmental, labour, and consumer protection compliance.
• Collaborate with global legal and business teams on company matters.
• Provide timely and pragmatic legal advice aligned with business strategy.
• Engage and coordinate with external counsel to provide cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of legal documents.

Eligibility

• 10+ years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Qualified in India.
• Smartphone or consumer tech industry experience is a plus.
• CS qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent academic background and leading law firm credentials.
• International work experience or education is an advantage.
• Experience in a start-up environment is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and command over English.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
