Details of the Job/Internship
Nothing is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with over 10 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Gurgaon.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements, including distribution, purchase, and marketing contracts.
- Provide legal advice on corporate matters such as FDI, customs, brand authorization, and IP/trademark concerns.
- Oversee compliance with corporate, labor, environmental, and consumer protection laws.
- Collaborate with global legal teams and business units on regulatory and operational issues.
- Offer strategic legal counsel to management aligning with business objectives.
- Coordinate with external counsel and integrate their inputs with in-house advice.
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping of legal documentation.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized institution; qualification in India mandatory.
- 10+ years of legal experience, preferably in the smartphone or consumer technology industry.
- Company Secretary (CS) qualification preferred.
- Experience in startups or high-growth environments desirable.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
