Details of the Job/Internship
Nothing is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 10+ years of experience to join its team in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts such as Distribution, Purchase, and Marketing Agreements, MSAs, etc.
- Advise on corporate matters including FDI, customs, brand authorizations, and IP/trademark concerns.
- Oversee compliance in areas such as product, environmental, labor, and consumer protection.
- Coordinate with global legal and business teams on cross-border legal issues.
- Offer strategic legal advice aligned with business goals.
- Liaise with and manage external counsel, integrating their input with in-house advice.
- Maintain records of all legal documentation.
Eligibility
- Law degree with 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Qualified to practice in India.
- Company Secretary qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in the smartphone or consumer tech industry is a plus.
- Strong academic background with top-tier law firm experience preferred.
- Prior startup experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication and legal drafting skills.
- Ability to independently assess risks, propose solutions, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
