Details of the Job/Internship
Nothing is hiring an experienced Legal Counsel to support its rapid expansion in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements such as distribution, purchase, marketing agreements, and MSAs.
- Advising on general corporate matters including FDI, customs, brand authorizations, and IP/trademark issues.
- Supporting compliance across corporate secretarial, product, environmental, labor, and consumer protection laws.
- Collaborating with global legal teams and cross-functional business teams.
- Providing timely, practical, and business-aligned legal advice to leadership.
- Engaging and managing external counsel and integrating their advice into cost-effective business solutions.
- Maintaining accurate records of all legal documents and agreements.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer in India.
- 10+ years of post-qualification legal experience.
- Experience in consumer tech or smartphone industry preferred.
- Company Secretary (CS) qualification desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong academic background with leading law firm or in-house experience.
- Startup or scale-up experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
