Details of the Job/Internship
Pfizer is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with experience of 8–10 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management to develop legal strategies supporting business goals.
- Implement risk management practices and offer proactive legal advice.
- Provide practical and business-focused legal solutions.
- Assist with joint ventures, partnerships and mergers & acquisitions.
- Advise on regulatory, corporate and compliance matters.
- Support internal corporate reorganisation initiatives.
- Handle litigation strategy, brief external counsel and oversee representations.
- Review and negotiate business transactions and assess legal risks.
- Develop and enforce corporate legal policies and training programs.
- Advise on intellectual property matters and monitor developments.
- Stay updated on legislative changes and communicate implications.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a reputed law college; master’s degree preferred.
- 8–10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience working in a pharmaceutical MNC.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead while being a team player.
