Details of the Job/Internship
PUMA Group is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 15+ years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves advising business teams on legal matters, handling contracts and transactions, ensuring compliance with laws, managing disputes, and mitigating legal risks while supporting business operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise stakeholders on legal matters, including contract negotiation, retail compliance, and risk management.
- Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Manage disputes, recovery matters, and litigation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify and assess legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on legal developments and assess their impact on the organisation.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed law college with 15+ years of experience and strong knowledge of law.
- Understanding of the business environment and legislative developments.
- Experience in drafting legal contracts.
- Crisis management and problem-solving ability.
- Critical thinking and analytical mindset.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Result-oriented with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to research, learn, and apply legal principles.
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills with attention to detail.
