PUMA India is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 15+ years of experience. The role involves managing business transactions, drafting and reviewing agreements, advising on legal risks, handling disputes, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on business transactions and ensure agreements are properly recorded.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and procedures.
• Handle disputes, litigation, and recovery matters.
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify legal risks, develop mitigation strategies, and advise on risk management.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.
• Support business teams with legal guidance and ensure timely resolution of queries.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and judicial or quasi-judicial authorities.

Eligibility

• LLB from a reputed law college with 15+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of law and evolving legislative practices.
• Proven experience in drafting contracts and handling legal disputes.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and crisis management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• High attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity.

Salary/Stipend
