Details of the Job/Internship

Refyne India is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with experience of 3 years to join their office in Bengaluru.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to the company's leadership on various legal matters, including RBI regulations, Company Law, Indemnity agreements,and general corporate law.
• Address and resolve all legal queries from clients,ensuring their concerns are managed with precision and clarity.
• Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant regulations, including RBl guidelines, and assist in the preparation and submission of necessary regulatory filings.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including client agreements, partnership contracts, NDAs, and indemnity agreements.
• Identify potential legal risks related to the company's operations and work proactively to mitigate them.
• Handle legal disputes, including pre-litigation strategy, managing external counsel when necessary,and representing the company in legal proceedings.
• Develop and update internal legal policies, ensuring they are in line with current laws and best practices.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior legal staff,ensuring they are well-equipped to handle day-to-day legal tasks.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM from a recognized university.
• Additional qualifications in finance or business law will be an advantage.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal role,preferably in the financial services or fintech sector.
• In-depth knowledge of RBl regulations, Company Law, Indemnity agreements, and other relevant legal frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation and drafting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High ethical standards and a keen eye for detail.
• Prior experience working in a Fintech or financial services company.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes legal issues and provide sound legal advice to senior management.
• Experience in handling regulatory bodies and compliance matters related to RBI and other financial regulations.

Salary/Stipend
