Details of the Job/Internship
Skyroot Aerospace is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 8+ years of experience to support its growing operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review customer agreements and vendor agreements related to procurement, logistics, and services.
- Draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements with external stakeholders.
- Interpret and apply space laws in coordination with space authorities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including Factories Act, environmental laws, PESO regulations, labour laws, IT laws, and data protection laws.
- Oversee timely filing of statutory returns.
- Conduct and manage legal due diligence for business transactions.
- Handle equity and debt fundraising transactions, including shareholder, subscription, and financing agreements.
- Drive the implementation of a compliance management tool for the company.
- Interact with central and state governments for policy implementation related to space and other laws.
- Assist with company secretarial duties and corporate governance compliance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
- Master’s degree in Law (LLM) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in legal drafting and statutory compliance.
- Experience in the space sector is desirable.
