Details of the Job/Internship

Tech Mahindra is hiring a Legal Counsel – Contracts & IP with experience of 8+ years to join their team in Pune or Noida.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet IT, ITES, and technology-related contracts, agreements, and legal documentation.
• Review and negotiate agreements such as Master Service Agreements, EPC contracts, turnkey contracts, professional service agreements, NDAs, and procurement agreements.
• Handle government tenders, bid proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and EOIs.
• Manage contracts with OEMs, service providers, and subcontractors related to software licenses, hardware, cloud, SaaS, AI, and manpower services.
• Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders regarding contractual correspondence, amendments, and extensions of agreements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
• Handle filing and prosecution of trademark, copyright, and patent applications and obtain registrations and renewals.
• Advise internal stakeholders on intellectual property issues, including trademark and copyright usage and violations.
• Coordinate with external attorneys for intellectual property registration activities.
• Identify legal risks and safeguard the company’s interests in contractual and IP matters.

Eligibility

• Qualified LL.B. degree.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in contracts within the IT industry.
