Details of the Job/Internship
Treelife is hiring a Senior Associate – Contracts with 6–10 years of PQE to join their legal department in BKC, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently draft, review, redline, and negotiate mid-complexity contracts such as SAAS, MSA, SOW, Amendments, and Change Orders.
- Provide strategic and pre-litigation advisory with direct engagement with founders and investors.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through thorough process checks.
- Manage the complete contract lifecycle including renewals, renegotiations, and terminations.
- Develop and implement privacy and data protection compliance processes for India and international jurisdictions (GDPR, COPPA).
- Lead contract functions and collaborate closely with founders.
- Manage multiple projects while improving client processes.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house corporate counsel.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-starter capable of working independently in a team environment.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills (written and oral).
