Details of the Job/Internship
Turing is hiring for the position of Senior Legal Counsel with experience of 10+ years to join their office virtually.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead employment law compliance programs and initiatives for India operations.
- Manage employment contracts, contractor agreements, and HR policies.
- Provide day-to-day counseling on employment matters including hiring, terminations, workplace investigations, and employee relations.
- Partner with People, Developer Experience, and various business teams to develop compliant employment practices and minimize legal risks.
- Monitor and analyze employment law developments in India and advise on the impact on business operations.
- Manage employment-related litigation and work with outside counsel when needed.
- Support global employment compliance initiatives and cross-border employment matters.
- Develop and conduct training programs on employment law compliance.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university in India.
- 10+ years of employment law experience with a primary focus on Indian employment laws.
- LL.M. in Labor Laws or related field.
