Details of the Job/Internship
Vivriti Group is hiring a Senior Counsel – Investment Legal with 7–8 years of experience to join its office in BKC, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review term sheets for credit and structured investments.
- Draft and negotiate debenture issue documents and credit instruments.
- Handle security creation documentation and related legal advice.
- Coordinate with external counsel and manage transactions.
- Conduct lender-side due diligence and review key contracts and borrowing documents.
- Identify and articulate legal risks and prepare diligence reports.
- Handle portfolio-related legal issues.
- Track and comply with legal and regulatory changes.
Eligibility
- Qualified lawyer with 7–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a law firm or with an asset management company, NBFC, or bank.
- Strong drafting skills with the ability to manage transactions independently.
- Knowledge of credit products and structured debt instruments.
- Working knowledge of Alternative Investment Funds is preferred.
- Strong research skills and ability to work under pressure.
