Details of the Job/Internship
Vyrian, Inc. is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel with 5+ years of post-qualification experience to join its Madhya Pradesh office (Indore or Bhopal preferred).
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and operational documents.
- Provide legal advice on employment law, HR policies, and compliance matters.
- Manage litigation and pre-litigation cases, legal notices, evidence preservation, and outside counsel.
- Oversee compliance programs, statutory registers, and entity governance.
- Update legal playbooks, templates, and authority matrices; present quarterly risk reviews.
- Coordinate cross-border legal issues with the United States team, including data transfers and retention.
- Maintain accurate, auditable matter files and employee records.
Eligibility
- Licensed to practice law in India.
- Minimum 5 years PQE in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal team.
- Strong expertise in commercial contracts, employment law, compliance, and litigation management.
- Knowledge of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and cross-border data transfers.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- LLB required; advanced degree or prior in-house global experience is an advantage.
