Details of the Job/Internship
Wenger & Watson Inc is hiring Senior Legal Counsel with the experience of 9 to 10 years to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- To oversee, manage and strategize high stake litigations before various forums including but not limited to litigation pending before Hon'ble Supreme Court, High Courts, NCDRC, Commercial Courts and labour courts.
- To effectively manage, supervise and oversee Corporate Litigation and ensure the interest of the Company is well protected.
- Well versed with drafting and reviewing of various pleadings which is filed/ submitted before the Courts including but not limited to counter affidavit, reply in response to Writ Petition, various applications drafted under the provisions of Commercial Courts Act etc.
- To effectively strategize real estate litigation, pan - India.
- To formulate effective recovery strategy against the defaulting vendors by initiating of appropriate legal action against the vendors.
- To assist the internal Liaison and Trust and Safety teams by suggesting effective legal recourse in case of initiating criminal complaint.
Eligibility
- They are looking for a candidate having mix exposure of working as an advocate and as in house counsel with around 9-10 years of litigation experience having an exposure of working in a fast-paced organization.
- Should have experience of managing external counsels and effectively finding counsels in tier II and III cities.
- Should have previous managerial experience of handling a 1 or 2 member in house team.
- Should have previous experience of working in a cross matrix organization and constantly working across different functions and keeping a variety of stakeholders updated.
