Having successfully flown a vehicle with the world's first single-piece 3D-printed rocket engine, for which it holds a patent, the vision of Agnikul is to bring space within everyone’s reach, aiming to enable launches from Anywhere, Anytime, Affordably.

Details of the Job/Internship

AgniKul Cosmos is looking for candidates for the role of Senior Legal Executive to join their office in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions to address legal requirements related to the operations of the start-up.
• Identify and ensure compliance with licensing and permit requirements for launch activities across various jurisdictions.
• Oversee the filing processes and monitor potential violations of the organisation's Intellectual Property.
• Engage in critical negotiations and lobbying efforts with Governmental agencies to advocate for the company’s interests.
• Provide specialized advice and guidance on the management of export-controlled commodities and services ensuring adherence to international and domestic export regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to position the company as a key participant in International Organisations and committees through academic publications, and presentations.
• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in ITAR compliance and International Import-Export regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

Eligibility

• 8-15 years of experience in a Corporate Law firm or Aviation/ Aerospace Industry.
• Thorough knowledge of Contract Laws, Insurance Laws, Intellectual Property, and regulatory frameworks in Air and Space Law.
• Proven ability to develop strategies for securing export authorizations and proficiently manage the approval process.
• Experienced in drafting advisory and legal opinion requests for Government agencies.
• Background in Aerospace and/or Marine industries.
• Strong academic background with excellent skills in writing, communication, interpersonal relations, and organization.
