Details of the Job/Internship
Bharat Diamond Bourse is hiring a Senior Legal Executive in Mumbai to support contract drafting, member relations, record management, and coordination of legal documentation and processes related to construction projects, leases, licences, and regulatory requirements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, vetting, and red-lining domestic and international contracts, including service agreements.
- Drafting basic legal documents for construction projects, ensuring compliance with construction laws and regulations, preparing damage claims, and resolving buy-sell matters.
- Handling member relations by addressing member queries related to legal agreements at the first level.
- Maintaining records of all legal agreements and documents and following up with members for completion of contractual and lease and licence documentation.
- Updating data on SAP or other computer software for MMRDA processes related to mortgage and member-to-member leave and licence.
- Preparing covering letters and handing over original MMRDA NOCs to members for mortgage and member-to-member leave and licence, and updating the MMRDA NOC list.
- Arranging agreement registration documents and coordinating with consultants.
- Providing regular updates to legal consultants on day-to-day legal department activities.
- Drafting minutes of meetings.
