Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) is a non-profit guarantee company registered in 1984 under Section 25 of the Companies Act. It was established by diamond exporters in collaboration with Minerals and Metals Trading Corporation of India (MMTC).
Details of the Job/Internship
Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) is seeking a Legal Executive to manage contracts, member relations, and record-keeping for the organisation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, vet, and red-line various domestic and international contracts, including Services Agreements.
- Assist in drafting basic legal documents for construction projects and ensure compliance with applicable construction laws.
- Prepare damage claims and support resolution of buy-sell matters.
- Respond to member queries regarding legal agreements and contracts.
- Maintain records of all legal agreements and documents, including Leave & License agreements.
- Coordinate with members and follow up on documentation completion.
- Update MMRDA NOC lists and handle handover of original NOCs to members.
- Coordinate with consultants for agreement registration and provide daily updates to the legal consultant.
- Prepare minutes of meetings and other legal documentation as required.
- Use SAP or other software for updating legal and member records.
Eligibility
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in drafting contracts and legal documents.
- Familiarity with SAP or relevant record management software.
- Ability to coordinate with members, consultants, and internal teams.
- Experience in handling legal documentation and NOCs for Leave & License agreements is preferred.
