Details of the Job/Internship
BHIVE Workspace is hiring a Senior Legal Executive with 3–4 years of litigation and corporate law experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft notices, plaints, written statements, and other legal pleadings.
- Assist in trial and hearing preparations, including organizing evidence and exhibits.
- Collaborate with senior advocates and their teams on case strategy.
- Maintain cause-list tracker and update management on case status.
- Attend hearings, handle adjournments, file FIRs, and interact with authorities as required.
- Coordinate registration of agreements at the Sub Registrar’s Office.
- Review legal notices received and draft responses in consultation with departments.
- Support functional areas on notices, recovery, disciplinary actions, and other legal issues.
- Conduct research on statutes, regulations, and case laws.
- (Good to have) Draft and negotiate corporate agreements including NDAs, customer/vendor contracts, and channel partner agreements.
- (Good to have) Work with management and counsels to devise strategies for defending company cases.
Eligibility
- LLB from a reputed college.
- 3–4 years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal team.
- Knowledge of legal research tools such as Livelaw, Manu Patra, Westlaw, or LexisNexis.
