Details of the Job/Internship
BHIVE Workspace is hiring a Senior Legal Executive with experience of 4–6 years to join their office in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The role involves supporting strategic initiatives, particularly in contract drafting, legal structuring of capital instruments, and due diligence.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements including service agreements, NDAs, IT/SaaS agreements, consultancy agreements, marketing agreements, business conducting agreements, service level agreements with vendors, engagement letters, and MoUs.
- Provide legal advisory on business queries related to intellectual property, dispute resolution, and documentation structuring.
- Draft lease deeds and leave and license agreements and coordinate with external counsels to obtain title reports.
- Draft legal notices and responses to notices, complaints, and related documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams including sales, operations, customer success, and procurement.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as trustees, law firms, external counsels, and advisors.
- Maintain cause lists and litigation updates with support from external counsels.
- Track updates on applicable laws including BBMP bylaws, labour laws, and municipal laws.
Eligibility
- LLB (mandatory).
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in corporate law, preferably in a startup, law firm, or investment-focused environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, and contract law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
