Details of the Job/Internship

ElasticRun is hiring a Senior Legal Executive (Real Estate) with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in Pune. The role involves managing legal aspects of warehousing activities, including lease agreements, property acquisition, due diligence, and compliance with real estate laws.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements for properties across India.
• Conduct due diligence of property documents including title verification, tax, and layouts.
• Manage property acquisition and ensure compliance with local and state real estate laws.
• Draft and maintain contracts related to warehousing and vendor services.
• Collaborate with internal teams and liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities.
• Track lease renewals, issue termination notices, and maintain property-related documentation.
• Ensure proper payment of stamp duty, registration, and execution of lease documents.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports on lease renewals, terminations, and compliance updates.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on legal and compliance matters.

Eligibility

• LLB degree with excellent academic credentials.
• 1–3 years of experience in real estate law, focusing on lease agreements and property acquisition.
• Prior in-house experience in the warehousing or logistics industry preferred.
• Strong legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of real estate laws, notary, registration, and stamp duty provisions.
• Ability to review and understand property documents such as sale deeds and land records.
• Capable of handling pressure and large volumes of work.
