Details of the Job/Internship
Excelsis Energy is hiring a Senior Legal Executive with 5 years of experience to join their legal team in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate internal litigation across East Africa.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and ensure alignment with the company’s legal strategy.
- Provide legal advice on litigation, regulatory compliance, and dispute risks.
- Review pleadings, legal opinions, and court documents.
- Support ADR mechanisms, including arbitration and mediation.
- Oversee legal documentation, including notices, affidavits, and filings.
- Maintain organized records of litigation and compliance.
- Assist in contract review and compliance verification.
- Prepare legal reports and updates for senior management.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B).
- Master’s degree (LL.M) or relevant certifications are preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in litigation and legal coordination.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing internal litigation.
- Experience in cross-border legal matters and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with legal systems in East Africa, especially Tanzania, is preferred.
