ideaForge is hiring for the position of Senior Legal Executive with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Navi Mumbai..

Role and Responsibilities

1. Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Ensure all contracts adhere to legal requirements, regulatory guidelines, and company policies.
• Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination.
• Maintain a comprehensive and well-organized digital contract repository.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate contractual risks.

2. Legal Research and Advisory:

• Conduct thorough legal research on topics related to drone manufacturing, intellectual property, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze legal issues, prepare concise reports, and provide actionable recommendations to business units.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments affecting the drone industry.
• Provide proactive legal guidance to various departments, including Sales, Operations, and R&D.

3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

• Assess legal risks associated with business operations and recommend strategies for risk mitigation.
• Develop and implement risk management policies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in identifying potential legal risks and opportunities to protect the company’s interests.

4. Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the drone sector.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.
• Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to mitigate legal risks.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on regulatory matters.

5. Legal Support and Documentation:

• Provide legal support in drafting internal policies, guidelines, and SOPs for the legal function.
• Prepare legal opinions, memos, and presentations as required.
• Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation.

6. Dispute Resolution and Litigation:

• Manage and resolve legal disputes, including civil and criminal matters.
• Assist in preparing legal strategies and supporting litigation efforts.
• Liaise with external legal counsel and represent the company in legal proceedings.

7. Training and Development:

• Conduct training sessions to educate internal teams on legal compliance and risk management.

8. Collaborative Engagement:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal advice on strategic business initiatives.
• Assist in coordinating and managing external legal counsel when necessary.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution.
• 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the technology or aerospace sector.
• Expertise in contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven experience in handling civil and criminal litigations is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Salary/Stipend
