Details of the Job/Internship
Magnolia Infrastructure Development Ltd. is hiring a Senior Legal Executive with experience of 5 years to join their office in Kolkata.
Role and Responsibilities
- Must know about conducting Legal due diligence / local laws for the properties to be acquired by the Company.
- Preparing preliminary notes on the property and title reports. Coordinating with external advocates for obtaining legal opinion.
- Coordinating with Bank Panel Advocates for obtaining legal opinion for project approvals & project finance. Handling queries raised by customers/advocates.
- Delivers high-quality strategic and operational legal advice across various areas of law to support business growth objectives and safeguard the company’s rights, interests, and reputation.
- Monitors compliance with documentation (titles and sanctions) for RERA registration.
- Coordinates with landowners and the Business Development and Liaison Departments to gather necessary property details, documents, and information.
- Manages RERA project registrations and oversees the submission of quarterly updates, RERA complaints, and appearances before adjudicating officers and tribunals.
- Should be well versed in drafting with Memorandum of Understanding, Joint Development Agreements, Agreement of Sale, Sale Deeds, Power of Attorney, Procurement Agreements etc., and other deeds with property.
Eligibility
- LLB Graduate with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Real Estate Industry & Land Purchase / Non Litigation.
- Should have excellent command over the English language Working knowledge of Bengali.
