Details of the Job/Internship
Plintron is hiring a Senior Legal Executive to join their office in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and review of domestic and international business contracts, service provider contracts, procurement contracts, professional/support services contracts, lease agreements, NDAs, letters of intent/memoranda of understanding, business partner contracts, franchisee agreements etc.
- Identification of legal, regulatory and other critical risks in business and other contracts.
- Handling IPR matters (Trademarks, Copyrights, Patents, and Domain Names).
- Review of data protection laws (GDPR and similar other laws), employment laws, Information Technology Act etc., and providing opinions.
- Providing assistance in drafting policies, process/guidance notes etc., and conducting legal research.
- Providing assistance to the team on arbitration/litigation.
- Handling contract management system/software and maintenance of repository of contracts.
- Constantly updating on the laws applicable to the company and providing updates to the team.
- Any other legal work that may be assigned from time to time.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
- Expertise in Law and Legal Advice.
- Experience in Legal Document Preparation and Conveyancing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in the telecom industry is a plus.
