Details of the Job/Internship

SFC is hiring a Senior Legal Executive with 5+ years of experience to lead their legal department in Navi Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and vet a variety of legal agreements, including EPC contracts, MOUs, NDAs, and commercial documents.
• Manage the timely execution and renewal of all corporate contracts and legal licenses.
• Maintain a comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) for all legal records to ensure audit readiness.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors and advocates for both litigation and non-litigation matters.
• Represent the company before courts and statutory authorities when required.
• Oversee the application, renewal, and closure of all statutory licenses and registrations.
• Provide legal guidance to internal HR, Procurement, and Project teams to ensure operational compliance.
• Proactively identify and highlight legal risks in contracts prior to execution.
• Ensure timely submission of legal filings and responses to regulatory bodies.

Eligibility

• Mandatory: Academic degree of LL.B.; LLM is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the Legal domain.
• Strong preference for candidates from EPC, Infrastructure, or Corporate environments.
• Expertise in contract management and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to coordinate with external law firms and handle litigation processes.
• Excellent documentation skills with a focus on precision and risk mitigation.
• Ability to work from the office location in Navi Mumbai.
