Details of the Job/Internship

Sociowash is hiring a Senior Legal Executive with 2 to 5 years of experience to join their team in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and vet a wide range of agreements, including Service Contracts, Leave & License Agreements, and Side Letters.
• Prepare specialized legal documents such as Power of Attorney, Wills, Declarations cum Indemnity, and Public Notices.
• Handle both litigation and non-litigation matters, including the drafting of legal notices, replies, and formal complaints.
• Identify, anticipate, and proactively mitigate legal risks within all company documentation.
• Coordinate directly with clients to ensure legal and commercial alignment on project blueprints.
• Maintain and review all internal legal records to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Support the agency's creative and media teams by providing clear and logical legal guidance on daily operations.
• Manage the execution of deeds and transfer documents to protect the company's physical and intellectual assets.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with 2 to 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Proven expertise in high-level drafting and complex contract negotiations.
• Prior work experience within an Advertising or Creative Agency is highly preferred.
• Excellent reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for documentation and reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to write clearly, concisely, and logically.
• Strong command of legal grammar and technical terminology.
