Details of the Job/Internship

Keppel (Real Estate Division) is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with 12+ years of experience to join their office in Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle negotiations, transaction structuring, due diligence, land title investigations, loan transactions, and relevant legislations.
• Manage major real estate developments, property acquisitions, FDI regulations, and development rules.
• Draft agreements for purchase and sale of immovable property, term sheets, shareholders agreements, NDAs, lease deeds, construction contracts, service agreements, loan agreements, and CCD/NCD documents.
• Coordinate litigation and arbitration matters with external counsel and advise management on legal issues.
• Ensure compliance with FDI, commercial law, corporate law, Companies Act, tax laws, SEZ rules, FVCI and SEBI regulations.
• Draft and register all contracts and agreements, ensuring adherence to stamp duty and registration requirements.
• Maintain MIS, reduce document turnaround time, and support legal process improvements.

Eligibility

• LLB with 12+ years of experience in an international organisation or law firm, preferably in real estate, services, or MNCs.
• Strong drafting skills and knowledge of central and state legislation.
• Experience in joint venture formalities preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office with strong presentation abilities.
