Details of the Job/Internship

Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) is hiring a Senior Legal Manager with 10-12 years of experience to join their office in Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and tender documentation.
• Lead commercial negotiations and ensure timely execution of legal documentation.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution:

• Manage litigation and non-litigation matters across civil, criminal, commercial, labor, and consumer laws.
• Prepare legal pleadings, including notices, replies, plaints, written statements, affidavits, and writ petitions.
• Represent or coordinate representation in legal proceedings as required.

Legal Advisory:

• Provide strategic legal advice on business transactions, tenders, policies, and regulatory developments.
• Advise management on the legal implications of internal policies, procedures, and business activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and mitigate legal risks.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure contracts, operations, and internal policies comply with applicable legal and regulatory standards.
• Monitor legal and statutory compliance, reporting key updates to senior management.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies, especially in areas involving high-value contracts.

Operational Support:

• Provide legal inputs for new business initiatives and support day-to-day operations with legal counsel.
• Make operational decisions related to legal risk, safety, and regulatory matters.

Eligibility

Education:

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized university (mandatory).
• Master’s degree in Law or a related field is preferred.
• Must be enrolled as an Advocate with the High Court.

Experience:

• 10–12 years of legal experience, including a mix of law firm and in-house roles.
• Minimum 5–7 years in a senior legal position in a reputed organization.
• Hands-on experience in contract drafting, negotiation, litigation, and legal advisory.
• Familiarity with intellectual property, licensing, and commercial agreements is desirable.
