Details of the Job/Internship
ANSR is hiring a senior legal manager with 7 to 10 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Offering legal advice and support to departments such as human resources, finance, IT, and corporate services, with a focus on contractual matters.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating vendor contracts across different lines of business.
- Providing legal assistance to the HR team on matters related to employee discipline, grievances, POSH complaints, and disputes or litigations involving employees.
- Monitoring and assessing the impact of evolving legal and regulatory changes relevant to the business, ensuring timely communication of these changes.
- Coordinating with external counsel as necessary to support legal matters and ensuring proper legal documentation.
Eligibility
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear legal solutions.
- Solid experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
- A proactive approach to identifying potential legal issues and communicating them effectively across the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
- The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Experience and Requirements:
- 7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in a legal counsel role.
- Prior experience working in-house with a multinational company, preferably in the services sector.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory matters in India.
- Experience working with international clients, particularly U.S.-based businesses, is an advantage.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a reputable law school or university.
